I lead the WoMiS' Club, an organization dedicated to promoting gender parity in STEM fields by supporting both women and men in their STEM careers. Moreover, I design new data analysis approaches using artificial intelligence (AI). I am passionate about finding practical solutions to problems through programming to make services and technologies accessible to more people. Currently, in my daily activities, I combine my greatest passion with research 😊.

Biography

My research interests include the design of AI-based solutions for digital health and Virtual reality for creating immersive STEM environments.

I am the PI and the current coordinator for the INSPIRA project (INSPIRA - Framework of Immersive STEM Environments), funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the German Development Cooperation, GIZ, in Ecuador. Additionally, I am the PI for the AI project focused on the early detection of nutritional deficiencies in children.
